Brian Center Health and Rehab – Durham is pleased to announce that we have won our 6th Blue Ribbon Award. Brian Center Durham was awarded Second Place in the East Region for Sava SeniorCare’s 2012 Blue Ribbon Program.
The Blue Ribbon program is a way of measuring and fostering the overall quality of senior care homes. Homes are measured in five categories:
- Environmental Excellence
- Employee Experience
- Customer Experience
- Business Process
- Quality Care
Evaluations are completed without prior notice to each home and are scheduled randomly. Only a select few of the almost 170 Sava SeniorCare homes are selected for the award, which includes a monetary payment that is split between all employees of the chosen home. Winning Second Place in 2012 will award Brian Center Durham $35,000.
